A five-day Coaching Seminar organised by All India Football Federation(AIFF) kicks-off in Navi Mumbai from July 16, 2012 to July 20, 2012.
The theoretical sessions will take place at the Royal Orchid Hotel in Navi Mumbai while the Practical Sessions will be conducted at the Father Agnel School Ground in Navi Mumbai.
The Coaching Seminar will be conducted by AIFF Technical Director Rob Baan, National Coach Wim Koevermans and Scott O’Donell, Technical Director, Regional and Elite Academies.
Former India captain Bhaichung Bhutia and Raymond Farrelly, Coach FX, will also attend the seminar as a Guest Speaker. AIFF general secretary, Kushal Das will also be addressing on the Long Term Future of Indian Football.
AIFF General Secretary, Kushal Das, said that, “We have invited around 70 coaches for the seminar including all the Coaches from all the I-League Clubs and all AIFF Contracted Coaches,”
“The Seminar gives us the opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss our new vision for the future development of Indian football,” said AIFF Technical Director Rob Baan. “We also hope the coaches will provide us a lot of inputs.”
Baan, Koevermans and O’Donell would also be imparting practical session classes to the participants. A total of 65 Coaches from all over India including AIFF contracted coaches and Coaches from I-League Clubs will be participating in the seminar.
