Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will travel to Sweden to undergo a knee surgery over the next few days.
The 20 year old Arsenal star was injured while on England duty, and missed out the 20011-12 season after he picked up an ankle injury and suffered swelling on his knees. However, the English mid-fielder is confident that he will be fit in time for the upcoming season.
With this injury, Wilshere might not be able to participate in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Gunner’s boss Arsene Wenger will be looking to determine whether his midfield dynamo will be fit for pre-season training starting on 9 July.
He was also ruled out of Euro 2012 due to his injury problems.
