AC Milan beat Parma 2-1 in a Serie A encounter in Milan on Friday.
In the 39th minute Parma defender Gabriel Paletta scored an own goal and gave Milan the lead, accidentally redirecting a cross from Kevin-Prince Boateng.
In the 78th minute, Balotelli curled a free-kick over the wall and beyond Nicola Pavarini’s reach. Nicola Sansone pulled one back for Parma in added time.
The victory moved Milan provisionally level with third-place Lazio, 11 points behind Serie A leader Juventus.
