Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard has ended all speculation of his England move this summer, opting for Champions League winners Chelsea over Manchester United and Manchester City. The 21 year old was rumoured to join either one of the top four English clubs, including Arsenal, with the race narrowing down to City, United and Chelsea.
Hazard made the revelation on an online networking site and announced that he was signing with the “Champions League Winner”. The Ligue 1 player of the season for the past two years scored 21 times in 47 appearances for Lille last season, with the French side failing to win the Championnat title.
The Blues’ latest addition will certainly be a huge boost for their quest to reclaim the English Premier League next season.
