Harry Redknapp has been sacked by Tottenham after almost four years as manager of the English Premier League Club.
Redknapp was seeking a three-year contract extension, as his existing terms were due to expire in the summer of 2013, but Spurs were unwilling to match his demands.
The 65 year old, who was a former West Ham player, will be leaving the club officially today.
He joined as manager at Spurs in October 2008 when they were at the bottom of the Premier League and secured a top-four finish the following season, steering them into the Champions League for the first time.
Everton’s manager David Moyes is hotly tipped to replace Redknapp, after 10 years in charge of the Merseyside club.
