EAST BENGAL 1-1 DEMPO SC
East Bengal and Dempo SC played out a 1-1 draw at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata, on Saturday.
East Bengal took the lead through Edeh Chidi in the 31st minute but the lead was cancelled in the second half, when Dempo’s Peter Carvalho levelled the score in the 82nd minute.
MUMBAI FC 0-1 SALGAOCAR
Salgaocar FC beat Mumbai FC 1-0 in the fourth round of the I-League 2012-13 season, at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, on Saturday.
Francis Fernandes’ found the back of the net in the 9th minute.
With this win, Salgaocar took home their first three points, thanks to the lone goal scored by Fernandes.
UNITED SIKKIM 0-0 PAILAN ARROWS
United Sikkim FC were held to a goalless draw by Pailan Arrows in the I-League 2012-13 season, at the Paljor Stadium, Sikkim, on Sunday.
Baichung, who came on as a substitute in the second half, received two yellow cards within seven minutes and was off again in his first I-League match for his own club.
Both sides had number of chances to score in the first half but none could convert. Pailan Arrows were more composed and played a number of passes to make forays into the United Sikkim citadel.
MOHUN BAGAN 3-1 SPORTING CLUBE DE GOA
Mohun Bagan beat Sporting Clube de Goa, 3-1 in a fourth round I-League on Sunday.
Odafa gave Mohun Bagan a 16th minute lead through a brilliant free-kick. He then doubled the lead in the 42nd minute and completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute that handed Mohun Bagan their second successive I-League win.
Sporting Clube de Goa managed to pull one back through Joseph Pereira. With this win, Mohun Bagan improved their tally to six points from four matches, while Sporting remained on four.
ONGC 2-4 AIR INDIA
M Pradeep struck twice as Air India registered their first full points in this season`s I-League with a comfortable 4-2 win over ONGC at Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi on Sunday.
Pradeep struck in third and 15th minute while Prakash Thorat scored the other in the 43rd minute. In the second half, the oil-men pulled two back within a span of two minutes through Kenistan (72nd) and Sachin Gawas (73rd).
It was in the 88th minute that Air India sealed the match when Lepcha tapped it in off a Vijith Shetty corner.
PUNE FC 0-1 CHURCHILL BROTHERS
Churchill Brothers beat Pune FC,1-0 in an I-League 2012-13 Round 4 encounter at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mhalunge-Balewadi, on Sunday.
Beto scored from the spot in the second minute of injury time (90+2 minutes) to give the Goans all the three points.
Churchill Brothers are currently in the second position now with nine points, while Pune FC is in the seventh position with six points.
