India lost its energy in the second half and failed to utilize the scoring opportunities.
Team India’s coach Savio Medeira said that “We made many mistakes in the midfield and kept losing the ball to our rivals many a times. Due to these midfield lapses our strikers didn’t get the kind of support which they should have got.”
He added that, “Rocus Lamare was the only shining light in India’s lack luster display, asking other players to take notice of the energetic performance. Rocus played well in the game and others need to take a lesson out of him.”
India’s next match is slated on Sunday against Philippines.
