Manchester City cruised through to the last eight of the FA Cup after a comfortable 4-0 win over Leeds on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Midfield marshal Yaya Toure opened the aacount for Man City after he started the move which saw perfect one touch passing between David Silva and Carlos Tevez – with the latter getting the assist.
Manchester City doubled the advantage in the 16th minute after Tom Lees was judged to have pulled Sergio Aguero back in the box by referee Mark Clattenburg. The Argentinean sent it neatly past United goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown.
After the break, the Blues scored in the 52nd minute, with excellent work by Silva and Aguero laid the ball on a plate for Tevez who chipped it easily into the back of the net.
It was in the 73rd minute that Aguero got his brace as he played the offside trap perfectly to give Man City a 4-0 win over Leeds.
