Life Sports FC finally got a break by winning its first game at the Nagalang Premier League. LSFC are fourth on the table. They gained three points after defeating New Market in Kohima.
Thangtinlen Haokip of LSFC became the first player in the history of NPL to score a hat trick. His first goal was in the 19’ and found the back of the net again in the 24’. He then created history by rounding off the league’s first ever hat trick. (4th goal of the match) during the 71st minute.
Novito Sale scored in the 54’ and Vikuzo Zhotso netted the 5th goal of the match in the 77th minute
Mezhiisietuo Sekhose who is just 15 years old netted the last goal of the evening in the 85’ leaving New Market goaless.
Dynamic FC Vs Sangpang FC
Sangpang FC pipped Dynamic FC by a solitary goal.
It was Tiayanger who scored in the 24’ and led his team to victory. Shangpang FC are at number 7 in the league standings.
FC Naga Tornadoes Vs Kohima Komets
Lajong’s stirker Tepongmeren scores for Kohima Komets in his debut game.
Tepongmeren Kichi from SLFC U-19 is playing for Kohima Komets in the ongoing Nagaland Premier League till the end of the season.
The match between Naga Tornadoes and Kohima Komets resulted in a draw 2-2 which was held at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on Saturday.
Tepongmeren and Kobu were the goal scorers for the Komets and had initially taken the lead.
The first to score for the tornadoes was Kivi and midfielder Senenlo found the much needed equalizer for the tornadoes and the match ended in a draw.
Both the teams, however, were awarded with six yellow cards and most of them were shown in the second half.
Naga Tornadoes is in the second place with four points from two matches.
