The sponsors of the Indian National Football Team, Panasonic, organised a three day camp in Shillong which started on Monday on the artificial turf at the third ground in Polo.
The aim is to provide young and talented footballers an opportunity to understand and learn the important aspects of the game. The camp will also help the young boys to improve themselves technically and gain more knowledge about the game.
Twenty eight junior players within the age group of 12-15 are participating in the ongoing Camp.
The boys participating in the camp will be given intensive training sessions, cool downs, in-classroom learning, videos, time for socializing and much more.
Former National Coach Savio Medeira will oversee the technical aspects of the camp along with AIFF Contracted Coach Francisco Costa da Bruto and Coach John Kenneth Raj.
Gourmangi Singh, Sushil Kumar Singh and Renedy Singh will also be actively involved in the camp and share their knowledge and experiences to the boys.
