Rangdajied United FC and Shillong Lajong FC shared points after playing an entertaining 2-2 draw under the newly inaugurated floodlights at the SSA Stadium today evening.
Rangdajied took an early lead in the 7th minute of the match after Stephan Harry’s shot found the back of the net.
The Reds who had plenty of chances from earlier on in the game finally equalised in the 19th minute. The new foreign recruit from the Republic of Korea, Juho Oh scored on his debut from a Samuel Lalmuanpuia free kick and leveled the scoreline to one all.
The youngster, Samuel Kynshi provided Shillong Lajong with a 2-1 lead against Rangdajied in the 62nd minute when he tapped the ball into the back of the net after the RUFC keeper fumbled the ball inside the box.
As the game was heading to full-time, Meban Wahlang managed to score a last-minute goal in injury time for Rangdajied and canceled Lajong’s lead in the game. Both teams took home one point each.
