Tottenham Hotspur have gained an entry in the FA Cup quarter-final after defeating Stevenage 3-1 at White Hart Lane in their FA Cup fifth round replay.
Jermain Defoe’s two goals and an Adebayor penalty, sealed a place for their team in the quarter-finals.
Joel Byrom was the first to score a goal putting Stevenage on the advantage by taking a shocking lead in just three minutes.
Jermain Defoe, reached the equalizer after twenty minutes and both teams went to halftime tied 1-1.
In the second-half, the Spurs took the lead as Emmanuel Adebayor edged Spurs in front with a penalty.
Jermain Defoe scored his second goal in the 75th minute to give eight-times FA Cup winners Tottenham a home quarter-final against Bolton.
