Adebayor’s two goals guided Tottenham to 3-1 victory over Swansea on Sunday, at White Hart Lane in the English Premier League.
Tottenham is currently occupying the fourth position as they level on points with third place Arsenal.
Rafael Van der Vaart classy side-foot netted the first half opener for the Spurs. But a Gylfi Sigurdsson strike found the much needed break for Swansea in the 69th minute.
Adebayor who is on loan from Manchester City, scored twice in the last 20 minutes which ended a run of three loss and two draws.
In the 73’, Adebayor netted from a Van Der Vaart corner and scored again in the final four minutes of the match, also with a header.
