Gareth Bale’s last-minute goal lifted Tottenham Hotspur to a 3-2 win over West Ham and up to third place in English soccer’s Premier League on Monday.
Gareth Bale opened the scoring in the 13th minute from the edge of the penalty area with a clinical finish.
In the 25th minute, Andy Carroll equalised with a penalty.
Joe Cole tucked the ball in to the far corner from a tight angle in the 58th minute, but Gylfi Sigurdsson equalised from close range in the 76th munute.
Bale scored the winner in the 90th minute which flew past West Ham goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen. This is the Welshman’s 15th Premier League goal of the season.
